The reason we want to illustrate many of our objects is due to the three-dimensional nature of them, illustrations allow us to communicate more detail and information, and they are often better for that purpose than actual photographs! Ultimately, we intend to illustrate a selected group from each typology for our monograpgh series. You can discover more about how we illustrate objects here.

If you would like to support our important work, you can now purchase A5-sized prints which feature some of our small finds illustrations. The prints detailed below, printed on 350gsm card with a silk finish, are individually signed by the illustrator and object finder, Gary Bankhead.

These wonderful signed illustrations, priced at only £5 each, £9 for 2, £12 for 3, or £15 for 4, plus £1 post and packaging (UK only). They can be ordered by simply making a bank transfer for the correct amount to the account detailed below (use your name as reference), and by sending an email to admin@diveintohistory.uk detailing which prints you want (pilgrim souvenirs, Lead trade tokens, buttons, pins, buckles, or Lead cloth seals) and the postal addess to which you would like them sending. As soon as the funds have cleared (usually the same day) the prints will be despatched (Royal Mail first class). For clarity, the postage and packaging fee is only £1 regardless of how many prints you order!
